The Service is operated by an individual developer, Kushal Subedi ("we", "us"). By using the Service, you agree to this policy.

1. Information We Collect

We only collect information that is necessary to run your account and provide access to the ebook:

• Account information — your email address and name, which you provide when you sign up or log in.
• Payment proof — if you purchase premium access, you may voluntarily upload a payment screenshot (eSewa/Khalti) and reference details so we can verify and activate your access.
• Reviews & ratings — any star rating or written review you choose to submit.
• Reading progress — chapter progress checkboxes are stored locally on your own device (browser local storage) and are not sent to us.
• Usage & device data — when you use the Service, analytics tools automatically collect non-identifying information such as pages viewed, approximate region, device type, browser, and interactions, to help us improve the product.

We do not collect your card numbers, banking credentials, or payment-account passwords. Payments are made directly through eSewa/Khalti outside of this Service.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account and authenticate logins.
• To grant and maintain premium access to chapters after payment verification.
• To send essential account emails (for example, email verification, password reset, and payment confirmation).
• To display and moderate reviews.
• To understand usage trends and improve content, performance, and reliability.

3. Third-Party Services

We rely on trusted third-party providers to operate the Service. Each processes data under its own privacy policy:

• Supabase — authentication, account database, and secure file storage for payment screenshots.
• Netlify — website and app hosting.
• EmailJS — sending account and payment-related emails.
• Google Analytics — anonymous usage analytics.
• Microsoft Clarity — anonymous usage and interaction analytics.
• Google Play Services — required for the Android app distribution and core functionality.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for advertising or marketing.

4. Cookies & Local Storage

The Service uses cookies and browser local storage to keep you signed in, remember your session, store reading progress on your device, and power analytics. You can clear or block these through your browser or device settings, though some features may stop working.

5. Data Retention

We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. Payment-proof screenshots are retained only as long as needed to verify and support your purchase. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see Section 7).

6. Data Security

Your data is stored on Supabase using industry-standard security, including database-level access rules (Row Level Security) so that users can only access their own records. While we take reasonable measures to protect your information, no method of transmission or storage over the internet is 100% secure.

7. Your Rights

You may request to access, correct, or permanently delete your personal data. To do so, email us from the address linked to your account and we will respond within a reasonable time.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is intended for adults interested in stock-market education and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us and we will remove it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be posted on this page with an updated "Effective date" above.
